East Coast and Midlands Region

The East Coast and Midlands Region of Ireland is made up of the Counties of Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath and Wicklow and covers the area just outside of Dublin. The area is a wonderful place to visit and is home to the best heritage sites in Ireland. You will be amazed by the monastic ruins, historic houses, lakelands, Bogs Mountains, canals, gardens, museums, golden beaches, quiet country walks and breathtaking scenery. 

 

You can see the history of Irelands past come to life in all of these visitor centres and the diversity of attractions that the East Coast and Midlands Region offers may come as a surprise if you have not visited here before.
